“We recently got married at the White House Banquets and Event Center (7/1/17). Booking WHEC as our venue was the best decision I made during this whole process. Planning a wedding is stressful, especially if you are out of state (I was living in Atlanta at the time), but it doesn’t have to be. Jovan, Mimi and the whole team are beyond amazing and were a blessing to my now husband and I. Not only are they professional and love what they do, they work with your budget and truly treat your wedding as a unique event and not just another contract. We had around 15 people who did not RSVP show up. Our wedding was plated and this was my worst fear as I wanted to ensure all my guest were comfortable and fed. Jovan and Mimi handled this beautifully. I didn’t even find out until mid-reception but was not even worried as they put together another table, seated guests and were still able to serve everyone on time with delicious and hot meals! They are professional and know how to handle these ‘hiccups’ as they occur.
Catering is done in-house and is amazing. I was really concerned about food and wanted something unique for my wedding. Jovan, Mimi and the chef came up with an amazing menu with various options and presented them to us at our food tasting 6 months prior to the wedding and I still can’t stop thinking about that food. People say guest don’t pay attention to the food, but my guests do and I am still getting compliments about our wedding menu!
We used a florist they work with and it was great having everything done in house. Again, I was living in Atlanta, and was unable to attend any meetings involving décor or flowers. However, Jovan and Mimi made it so easy. I told them my vision and they brought it to life! I was so pleased with how everything came out!
You will not regret booking them! Once you view the place and experience their great customer service, you will feel like family. We have found true friends in Mimi and Jovan and are looking forward to hosting a future event with them.”

“They made all my dreams come true.
My husband and I paid for our own wedding. We didn’t have tens of thousands of dollars to spend on a venue. We looked at tons of other venues. Ones within our budget and ones outside our budget. The ones outside our budget were elegant but to stay close to our budget the venue became bare. The ones within our budget were not elegant, looked cheap or gave us the bare minimum.
The white house event center completely different and was everything we were looking for. The grounds are amazing. Elegant, modern, clean and screams class. The staff and owner are amazing and accommodating. I had my wedding in August and didn’t want to have my wedding outside in the heat. When I asked to have the wedding upstairs they didn’t even bat an eye. They agreed to it and did everything possible to make it exactly like I wanted.
Along with them being extremely accommodating, their staff is friendly and respectful. I was able to call Jovan, Mimi or Guermillo throughout the whole year of planning with any questions or concerns and they would work through them with me. They never made me feel like I was asking too much or that my concerns were unfounded or ridiculous.
During the wedding they were so amazing and thoughtful. They were attentive, making sure we had everything that we needed. The whole process was flawless thanks to them! No underhanded schemes! I had heard so many horror stories from brides I knew about how their vendors had promised them the world but when it came down to it didn’t pull through. That is not the case with the White House Event Center! They were honest and always straight forward.
Most importantly they were within budget. They are very fairly priced for everything that is included (food, tables, linens, plating and drinks).
With all the chaos a wedding brings I felt so blessed that my venue didn’t add to it. You can’t go wrong with this venue.”

“First I would like to say that I never never write reviews. My wife and I recently got married on September 17,2016 and the venue was amazing. From the dressing area, to the cocktail hour inside the White House, to the Rose garden for the ceremony to the west wing where the reception was held was perfect. Jovan, Mimi, and Guerimero were by far the best in accommodating our needs. They provided comfort at every request.
The price point and value of service you receive for what you get at the venue far exceeds the cost. VERY REASONABLE. The food is excellent and Jovan and Mimi provide a wide variety of foods for different types of events.
Giving them a five star does not do them any justice. They deserve a TEN. If you are planning any type of social event. I strongly recommend you choose the WHITE HOUSE EVENT and BANQUET CENTER I assure you that you will not be disappointed.”

“I had my wedding here in January and everything was beautiful. Initially when you go inside, it’s hard to imagine what a wedding could look like at the event center. But, just as a blank canvas, the White House provides a lot of space to creatively design an elegant and classy wedding. The interior is beautiful, spacious, white, and clean. Jovan was great to work with and for the most part everything panned out perfectly on the day of. Jovan is flexible and easy to work with. The staff are very friendly and accommodating. A lot of the guests gave compliments on how beautiful and elegant our wedding was. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone.”

“After having a horrible experience with a so called party coordinator that just took our money and left us 1 week before my daughters quinceañera with out venue, photobooth,music choreographer ect. We were lucky enough to find this venue with AMAZING, CARING people working here since the 1st day we met with Lorena, Giovanni & Mimi they where so sweet and offered to help, we knew then we were in good hands. On day of the event, everything was beyond our expectations. We received wonderful feedback from our friends and family. The venue was breathtaking, delicious food, and most importantly, wonderful/friendly staff. They took all our stress away making sure everything was taken care of. It was an overall excellent experience. I highly recommend them and from now on, any event my family and I have we will be having it there. I think 5 stars isn’t enough for such great service!”
